Easy Sugar Cookie Croissants: Viral TikTok Recipe
Have you heard of these viral TikTok cookie dough croissants? It’s an insanely easy way to elevate store-bought croissants into something special.
This is a spin off the original version that uses chocolate chip cookie dough. Instead, I used sugar cookie dough to make these decadent croissants that are somehow both flaky like a croissant and warm and gooey like a fresh cookie.
The recipe uses pre-made croissants and ready-to-bake cookie dough so it couldn’t be any easier. You stuff your croissants full of cookie dough and bake to end up with the perfect golden cookie croissants.
That’s right, it’s basically genius.
These croissants make for a special breakfast treat or an easy and unique dessert.
Let’s bake some croissants!

Ingredients

Steps to make Sugar Cookie Croissants Recipe
1. Preheat oven according to cookie dough instructions (Mine was 350 F)
2. Slice croissants in half long ways
3. Slice cookie dough like you would to bake cookies, slicing rough 1.5 cookies per croissant.

4. Stuff each croissant with approximately one cookie’s worth of dough.

5. Gentle press crumbles of cookie dough to the top of each croissant. I used about a half of cookie’s worth on each but you could do more to taste.

6. Bake the stuffed croissants according to the cookie dough instructions. If a time range is given, use the low end of the time to start and turn the sheet halfway through baking.
