Pretty-in-Pink White Hot Chocolate

This Pretty-in-Pink White Hot Chocolate is cute, sweet and creamy. It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day, a cozy Galentine’s Day moment, or even a festive girl baby shower drink.

It’s made with melted white chocolate, steamed milk, and just a few drops of red food coloring for that soft pink color.

Top it with whipped cream and sprinkles, and you’ve got a drink that looks just as good as it tastes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp white chocolate chips 
  • 1 tsp sugar 
  • Red food coloring (2-3 drops)
  • Whipped cream 
  • Red and pink sprinkles

Steps to make Pretty-in-Pink White Hot Chocolate

1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to steam. Do not let it boil.

2. Add the white chocolate chips to the saucepan and stir until they are completely melted and incorporated into the milk.

3. Stir in the sugar until it dissolves completely.  

4. Add 2-3 drops of red food coloring to the saucepan and stir well to evenly distribute the color. Add more drops if desired for a deeper color.

5. Continue heating the mixture for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is hot and well combined.

6. Remove the saucepan from heat and pour into mugs.

7. Top each mug with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
