Cottage Cheese Chocolate Mousse with Peanut Butter

This cottage cheese chocolate mousse with peanut butter is one of my favorite healthy sweet treats. It’s such an easy dessert to whip up and is really satisfying with all the protein from the cottage cheese.

I love cottage cheese desserts because the cottage cheese adds a touch of tartness and the desserts aren’t too sweet. It makes great sweet snacks and is a great sweet treat for kids.

And this is one of the easiest cottage cheese recipes because you just throw everything in the blender. It’s the ultimate easy healthy dessert.

Let’s whip up some cottage cheese mousse!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup cottage cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp maple syrup, powdered erythritol or stevia (to taste)
  • 2 scoops peanut butter flavored protein powder or real peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2–4 tbsp almond milk (to thin as needed)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until creamy and smooth, scrapping down sides as needed.

2. Taste and adjust consistency with milk and sweetness with sweetener

3. Optional: chill for 30 minutes for a firmer consistency

Cottage Cheese Chocolate Mousse with Peanut Butter
