Fruit Loop Rainbows: Kid-Friendly and Fun!
These Fruit Loop Rainbows are a colorful, easy snack and fun activity all in one — perfect for kids! They’re simple to make, super cute, and a fun way to keep little hands busy.
My preschoolers went absolutely nuts when I taught them how to make these. Their super into rainbows right now and they thought these were the coolest. Plus, it kept them busy for almost 30 minutes, which is saying something for my 3-year old.
All you need are Fruit Loops, marshmallows, and pipe cleaners. Kids can string the cereal on like beads, then bend them into a rainbow shape for a sweet little snack they’ll love making and eating.
Whether it’s for a rainy afternoon or a fun St. Patrick’s Day snack, this one’s a hit with kids of all ages.

Steps to make Fruit Loop Rainbows
1. Push one of a pipe cleaner into a marshmallow.
2. String fruit loops onto the open of the pipe cleaner, pushing them down to the marshmallow side. Stop adding fruit loops when there is approximately an inch of pipe cleaner left.
3. Push the open end of the pipe cleaner into another marshmallow. Bend the pipe cleaner into a rainbow shape.

- 2 regular-sized marshmallows per rainbow

Notes
🌈 NOTE: Do not eat the marshmallows at the end of the pipe cleaners since they can end up with pipe cleaner fibers stuck to them.
