Easy 2-Ingredient M&M Bunny Cookies
How cute are these bunny cookies? They’re basically the easiest cookie to make, elevating break-and-bake cookies into an adorable Easter dessert.
These viral M&M bunnies have been making their way around social media because they’re basically the easiest Easter cookies possible. All you have to do is cut one M&M in half to make little bunny ears.
I wanted to make the cookies even more festive and fun, so I paired the M&M bunnies with pretty funfetti sugar cookies.
If you use ready-to-bake cookie dough, this becomes a 2-ingredient recipe that you can have done in less than 20 minutes.
Let’s make some cookies!

Ingredients

Steps to make M&M Bunny Cookies
1. Pre-heat oven according to your cookie package. Arrange cookies on baking sheet.

2. Sort M&M’s for each bunny, with one whole M&M for the bunny head and 1 M&M that will be cut in half for the ears. Sort enough sets for the number of cookies you’re baking: for small cookies prepare two bunnies; larger cookies prepare three bunnies
TIP: I used a muffin tin to keep sorted M&M’s organized.

3. From each M&M set, cut one M&M in half for the bunny ears.

4. Bake cookies according to package instructions. Do not overcook since softer cookies are easier to press in the M&M’s.
5. When cookies are done, move as quickly as possible to add M&M’s. Press down the whole M&M as the bunny head and then press half of M&M with the cut side down for each ear. You must work quickly because you need to press in the M&M’s before the cookies cool and become firm.
(TIP: have another person help with this step so it’s faster if possible)

6. Allow cookies to cool before removing from the baking sheet to allow M&M’s to set.
7. Enjoy!
