Cute & Easy Dipped Strawberry Carrots
How cute are these covered strawberries that look like carrots? They’d make the perfect Easter dessert or a cute addition to a garden party.
Chocolate-covered strawberries are easy to make, and these use candy melts which are even easier to work with than traditional chocolate.
I love how the green tops of the strawberries work perfectly as carrot tops. (My toddler recently asked me what the “green stuff” was on a whole strawberry because he had only ever had them cut, so these would thoroughly confuse him lol).
Add these to a plate of Easter cookies or as an accompaniment to a carrot dessert as a garnish.
Let’s dip strawberries!

Ingredients
Other items needed: parchment paper for setting the strawberries, piping bag or zip lock bag for decorative drizzle

Steps to make Strawberry Covered Carrots
1. Wash and dry strawberries
2. Melt candy melts as directed on the bag. My go-to process is heating them in the microwave on half-power for 30-second intervals and stirring between.
NOTE: You can also add a touch of neutral oil if your brand of melts is thick (tread lightly with oil, too much and it won’t set)

3. Put a wood skewer through the top of the strawberry (you could also hold by leaves if you don’t have a stick). Dip each strawberry into the candy melts and place on parchment paper to dry.

4. Put remaining melted candy melts into a piping bag. Cut and drizzle over the strawberries. Let dry. You could also use a small ziplock bag if you don’t have a piping bag.
5. Refrigerate until serving
