Cute Birds Nest Cookies (No-Bake Treat)
These bird nest cookies are a fun, no-bake treat that comes together in just a few minutes with melted white chocolate and crunchy cereal. Once the mixture is scooped and shaped, all you need are some candy eggs to turn each cookie into a sweet little springtime nest.
They’re simple enough to make with kids, but cute enough to serve at Easter brunch or package up as a seasonal gift. You can use whatever cereal you like—classic cornflakes, rice cereal, or even crispy chow mein noodles all work. It’s the kind of recipe that’s easy to customize and even easier to enjoy.
Let’s make some cute cookies!

Ingredients

Steps to make Birds Nest Cookies
1. Pour the cereal into a bowl

2. Melt chocolate wafers as directed on the bag. As microwave and chocolate brands vary, refer back to the package directions. I personally do 50% power in 30 second increments, stirring between, until melted.
TIP: You can add drops of neutral oil to thin the melted chocolate as needed, but add slowly so the chocolate doesn’t become too thin
3. Pour the chocolate onto the cereal and mix gently.

4. Spread the cereal and chocolate mixture into cupcake liners. Shape them into a nest shape while the chocolate is still soft. Sprinkle with green chocolate shards.

5. Add 3-4 chocolate eggs into each nest.
6. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
